Today I uploaded a photo of a housing area of my hometown. It is not far from where I am living. There are still a lot of unused land.
Kamp-Lintfort is a small town at the Niederrhein near to the Netherlands. It is not too bad living there 🙂
I took this photo on another grey in grey day which is usual for this season. According to tests and reviews about my Camera (Panasonic DMC FZ50) I am able to confirm that the camera has a problem with noise. I didn’t have this experience using the camera for 2 years in Australia. With all the bright sunny daylight there was no noise (see photo #2/365 of this Project) but using the camera in a grey in grey environment it definitely has a problem with noise. I hope that we will get a good summer this year and hopefully soon.
Photo was taken by hand – no tripod
Auto-brackets -2 / +2 – 3 Photos
Scene Mode: Landscape (Manual mode is not working under these conditions – will create more noise)
A lot of noise was saved….
I used HDR Efex Pro to align the 3 photos
processed the photo in HDR Efex Pro
Using a Define 2.0 software to remove the noise as good as I was able to handle it
cropped it – removed a lof of green from the bottom of the photo
You can find the result on the FlickR and here:
